The Belle Fourche Broncs's four-game losing streak came to an end on Tuesday. They came out on top against Lead-Deadwood by a score of 59-51. That's another feather in the cap for Belle Fourche, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Belle Fourche had a senior duo take command as Carter McKenna dropped a double-double on 13 points and 13 rebounds and Nolan Wahlfeldt scored 18 points along with five rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Wahlfeldt has scored at least 25% of Belle Fourche's points. Another player making a difference was Jet Jensen, who scored 14 points.
Belle Fourche's win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-6. As for Lead-Deadwood, they bumped their record down to 3-5 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Belle Fourche will square off against Wall at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Wall will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak. As for Lead-Deadwood, they will be playing at home against Hill City at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
