Meanwhile, Cheltenham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of Springfield Township. The match marked the first time this season in which the Panthers were not able to get on the board.

Cheltenham saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emile Chanoine, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base and one double. Chanoine is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last seven games he's played.

William Tennent's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Cheltenham, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8.
