Basketball Recap: Selma's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

After losing to Greenville the last time they met, Selma decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Selma Saints walked away with a 73-63 win over the Greenville Tigers on Friday. That's two games straight that the Saints have won by exactly ten points.

Greenville lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Kendre Bullard, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Joshua Jenkins, who posted nine points and three steals.

The victory (which was Selma's third in a row) raised their record to 10-1. As for Greenville, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Selma didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 64-38 win against New Brockton on the 28th. As for Greenville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 74-59 loss against Park Crossing on the 28th.
