Basketball Recap: Duchesne Has No Trouble Against Wright City

While Duchesne didn't have the best season last year (they finished 12-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. The stars were shining brightly for them in a 47-33 victory over the Wright City Wildcats on Thursday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 64-41 two weeks ago.

The win made it two in a row for Duchesne and bumps their season record up to 7-1. As for Wright City, their loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Duchesne will finish 2024 at home by hosting Granite City at 2:00 p.m. on December 26th. As for Wright City, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Louisiana at 7:00 p.m. on January 13, 2025.
