Football Recap: Ysleta Indians vs. Socorro Bulldogs
Ysleta won the last time they faced Socorro, and things went their way on Friday too. The Ysleta Indians blew past the Socorro Bulldogs 56-20 at home. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Indians.
Ysleta found their leader in underclassman Rodrigo Martinez, who rushed for 108 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries, and also threw for 170 yards and a touchdown. Another player making a difference was Martin Castro, who rushed for 103 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries.

Landeros got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 72 yards.
Ysleta's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Socorro, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ysleta will head out to take on San Elizario at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
