Lincoln's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. Everything went their way against the Kearny Komets as they made off with a 14-3 win. The result was nothing new for the Hornets, who have now won seven matches by 11 runs or more so far this season.

Lincoln's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-10. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.5 runs over those games. As for Kearny, they moved to 6-10 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Lincoln has already played their next contest, a 21-13 victory against San Ysidro on the 28th. As for Kearny, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 9-7 defeat against High Tech SD on the 30th.
