Basketball Recap: Wilson Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Wilson Christian Academy played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against the Thales Academy Rolesville Knights, falling 78-37. The Chargers haven't had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Thales Academy Rolesville's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Coleman Richman, who shot 46% from the field en route to 15 points and eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Andy Black, who went 5-for-9 to rack up 14 points.

Wilson Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Thales Academy Rolesville, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wilson Christian Academy will welcome Scotland Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Thales Academy Rolesville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Wayne Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
