Volleyball Recap: Princeton Tigers vs. Evansville Harrison Warriors

Princeton had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Evansville Harrison Warriors on Monday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

While Princeton had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 13-25, 25-19, 25-21.

Alexis Kermode paced Princeton's offense, picking up 19 kills. Kermode got some help from Raven Jones and her 37 assists. Halle Cole controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

The win got Evansville Harrison back to even at 1-1.

Princeton and Evansville Harrison will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Tigers are set to face off against their familiar foe Tecumseh at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Evansville Harrison will challenge rival Castle at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
