Volleyball Recap: Trinity Classical Academy Comes Up Short

After flying high against Lancaster Baptist on Thursday, Trinity Classical Academy came back down to earth. The Knights fell just short of the Bishop Diego Cardinals by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. If the Knights were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Cardinals when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Trinity Classical Academy sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 11-25, 15-10.

Trinity Classical Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Bishop Diego, they pushed their record up to 5-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Trinity Classical Academy will take on AGBU at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bishop Diego, they will challenge San Luis Obispo Classical Academy at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
