Basketball Game Preview: New Creation Christian Academy Crusaders vs. HALO Wolfpack

New Creation Christian Academy is 9-1 against HALO since February of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Crusaders will be home for the holidays to greet the Wolfpack at 7:30 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

HALO will challenge a team with plenty of momentum: New Creation Christian Academy extended their winning streak to three on Saturday. The Crusaders really took it to Strong Rock Christian for the full four quarters, racking up a 68-26 win. The Crusaders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Caleb Estes produced another solid performance going 9-for-14 en route to 20 points. Thanks to that strong game, he now owns an excellent 45.5% field goal percentage. The team also got some help courtesy of Levi Houseworth, who posted ten points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals.

New Creation Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in nine consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, the third road game was the charm for HALO, as they earned their first away victory of the season. They came out on top against Peachtree Academy by a score of 56-47 on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Wolfpack in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won three in a row.

New Creation Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 9-4. As for HALO, the win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 5-7.

Everything came up roses for New Creation Christian Academy against HALO in their previous meeting back in November, as the squad secured a 75-45 victory. In that matchup, the Crusaders amassed a halftime lead of 45-22, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Tuesday.
