Baseball Recap: Chatfield Chargers vs. Pacifica Mariners
There's no place like home for Chatfield, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 victory over the Pacifica Mariners on Tuesday. While the Chargers didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.
Isaac Low made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, he posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.
In other batting news, Chatfield let Brady Harman and Colin Metz run wild.
