Camp Point Central was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Winchester on Thursday. The Panthers were the clear victors by an 18-4 margin over the Cougars. Considering the Panthers have won 13 matchups by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Emma Stephens made a splash no matter where she played. She pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Stephens was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Karly Peters, who went a perfect 5-for-5 with seven RBI, two triples, and three runs. Those seven RBI gave her a new career-high. Gabby Homan was another key player, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with two RBI and one double.

Camp Point Central's win bumped their record up to 15-7.

As of now, neither they nor Winchester have any future games scheduled.
