Soccer Recap: Caldera Victorious

While Caldera's win against Thurston wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Caldera's defense stepped up to hand Thurston a 1-0 shutout on Friday. Caldera hasn't had any issues with Thurston recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Caldera's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Thurston, they now also have a losing record of 1-2.

Caldera will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Bend at 4:30 p.m. on the 16th. As for Thurston, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, an 8-1 loss against West Albany on the 8th.
