Softball Recap: Terrebonne Comes Up Short

Terrebonne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 17-3 to the Central Lafourche Trojans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 16-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Terrebonne saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was KALLIE LINER, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run. That home run was LINER's first of the season.

Terrebonne's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Central Lafourche, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Terrebonne Tigers face off against St. James Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Terrebonne is facing St. James at the right time seeing as St. James is stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Central Lafourche, they will challenge Central Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
