Manhattan Christian waltzed into their match on Friday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They breezed by the Gardiner Bruins to the tune of 61-16. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Montana basketball rankings (they are ranked 26th, while the Bruins are ranked 117th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Manhattan Christian's victory bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Gardiner, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Manhattan Christian will challenge Three Forks at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Three Forks is on a three-game streak of home wins, Manhattan Christian a 11-game streak of away wins (dating back to last season)-- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. As for Gardiner, they will head out on the road to challenge West Yellowstone at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
