Soccer Recap: Lipscomb Academy Comes Up Short

Lipscomb Academy came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Pope John Paul II Knights. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Lipscomb Academy of the 5-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Lipscomb Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Pope John Paul II, the victory got them back to even at 3-3-1.

Coincidentally, Lipscomb Academy and Pope John Paul II will both be playing Father Ryan the next time they take the pitch. The Knights will host the Irish at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Mustangs will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
