While Bradley Central's win against East Hamilton wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bears sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-1 victory over the Hurricanes on Thursday. That's the fourth time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 10-1 victory back in April.

Tyler Cook spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on four hits and racked up eight Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in eight consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Bradley Central saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carson Stott, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

The win made it two in a row for Bradley Central and bumps their season record up to 17-14-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 7 runs in those games. As for East Hamilton, they dropped their record down to 16-17 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.

Bradley Central will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Hurricanes: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
