Soccer Recap: Burlington Comes Up Short

Burlington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 5-2 to the Tewksbury Memorial Redmen. While losing is never fun, Burlington can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts soccer rankings (they are ranked 277th, while Tewksbury Memorial are ranked 136th).

Burlington's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11-1. As for Tewksbury Memorial, they now have a winning record of 6-5-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Burlington will welcome Woburn Memorial at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Tewksbury Memorial, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lawrence at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
