Baseball Game Preview: St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse vs. Tekoa-Rosalia Timberwolves

St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse will take on the Tekoa-Rosalia Timberwolves at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse came into this matchup off a tough 19-run defeat on Saturday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Waitsburg/Prescott by a score of 18-16 on Saturday. One positive for St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Warren Repp and Blake Johnson did some serious damage despite the final result: Repp scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances, while Johnson scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. That's the most runs Johnson has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Chase Harder, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in two of his five plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Tekoa-Rosalia came up short against Pomeroy on Saturday, falling 19-1. The Timberwolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tekoa-Rosalia's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.
