Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Immaculate). They breezed by the Pomperaug Panthers to the tune of 67-37 on Saturday. This was payback for the Mustangs, who suffered a 46-38 loss the last time these two teams met.

Immaculate found their leader in sophomore Kendra Foy, who posted 24 points. Kristina Asmani was another key player, putting up 14 points.

Immaculate's win bumped their record up to 3-10. As for Pomperaug, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-4.

Immaculate will challenge Joel Barlow at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pomperaug, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Pomperaug Panthers challenge the Bethel Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
