Tuscola owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Monday. They came out on top against the Warrensburg-Latham Cardinals by a score of 5-0. The win was familiar territory for the Warriors, who have now won five matches in a row.

The result came thanks to Kinzie Cleland's shutout, as she gave up just a hit and racked up nine Ks. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than nine strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Ava Boyer was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. Bella Wishard was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one home run.

Tuscola pushed their record up to 9-6 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Warrensburg-Latham, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-8.

Looking ahead, Tuscola will host Neoga at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Warrensburg-Latham, they will take on Meridian at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Hawks' pitching crew has only allowed 2.7 runs per game this season, so the Cardinals' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
