Baseball Recap: Wesley Chapel Find Success

On Thursday, the Wesley Chapel Wildcats beat the Northside Christian Mustangs 6-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.

Cole Ranchel tossed a big game, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out six over five innings pitched.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Zorre Wright, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Nolan Hartley, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Wesley Chapel now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Northside Christian, their record is now 0-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wesley Chapel will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Wiregrass Ranch at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Northside Christian, they will face off against The First Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
