Old Town is 10-0 against Presque Isle since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. The Old Town Coyotes will head out on the road to square off against the Presque Isle Wildcats at 12:30 p.m. Old Town is coming into the game hot, having won their last six games.

Old Town is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Maine's top teams: Mount Desert Island, who was ranked 17th at the time (Old Town was ranked 25th). Old Town came out on top against Mount Desert Island by a score of 40-33 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Presque Isle). They breezed by Greater Houlton Christian Academy to the tune of 74-16 on Tuesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Presque Isle's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-5. As for Old Town, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.

Old Town beat Presque Isle 47-40 in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Old Town since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
