Softball Recap: Three Straight Home Wins for Mt. Lebanon

Mt. Lebanon won against Canon-McMillan on Friday with ten runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Saturday. Mt. Lebanon beat Canon-McMillan by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 10-6. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-6 on Friday.

Mt. Lebanon's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.3 runs over those games. As for Canon-McMillan, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mt. Lebanon will venture away from home to take on Butler at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Canon-McMillan, they will head out to square off against Hempfield Area at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Hempfield Area will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Canon-McMillan surely won't give up without a fight.
