Soccer Recap: Aspen Takes a Loss

Aspen came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Roaring Fork Rams. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Aspen of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Aspen's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-4-1. As for Roaring Fork, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3-3 record this season.

Aspen wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 5-0 defeat against Delta on the 29th. As for Roaring Fork, they have also already played their next game, a 4-0 loss against Mead on the 25th.
