Soccer Recap: Cedar Ridge Comes Up Short

Cedar Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vandegrift Vipers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Raiders of the 8-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Cedar Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 3-7-1. As for Vandegrift, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which lines up perfectly with their 7-1-1 record this season.

Cedar Ridge will be playing in front of their home fans against Vista Ridge at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Vandegrift, they will venture away from home to challenge Manor at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Manor's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
