Mount Vernon has gone 8-2 against Lewis recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Mount Vernon Majors will be playing at home against the Lewis Lancers at 7:15 p.m.

Meanwhile, Lewis came into Monday's matchup having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They escaped with a win on Monday against Falls Church by the margin of a single free throw, 57-56.

Lewis' victory ended an 11-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-14. As for Mount Vernon, their loss dropped their record down to 3-13.

Everything came up roses for Mount Vernon against Lewis when the teams last played back in January of 2024, as the squad secured a 61-30 win. Will Mount Vernon repeat their success, or does Lewis have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
