Baseball Recap: Rogue River Takes a Loss

Rogue River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 15-4 to the Brookings-Harbor Bruins. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bruins this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-3 on Tuesday.

O. Morton made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two doubles, and one run.

Rogue River's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Brookings-Harbor, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

While Rogue River had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
