Baseball Recap: Calvary Chapel Academy Takes a Loss

Calvary Chapel Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They came up short against the Palm Bay Pirates, falling 12-2. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Pirates this season, with their most recent defeat being a 15-8 loss back in March.

Calvary Chapel Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Palm Bay, their record is now 10-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Calvary Chapel Academy will venture away from home to challenge Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Palm Bay, they will head out to take on Titusville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Pirates' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Terriers have averaged an impressive 6.9 runs per game this season.
