Basketball Recap: Global Outreach Charter Academy Takes a Loss

Global Outreach Charter Academy came up into this matchup off a tough 26-point defeat last Tuesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the KIPP Bold City Greyhounds by a score of 61-59 on Wednesday. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Kodiaks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 72-56 back in December of 2024.

Despite the loss, Global Outreach Charter Academy still got an impressive performance from Alex Dumesle, who posted 24 points and six boards. Those 24 points gave Dumesle a new career-high. Jordan Hamilton was another key player, putting up eight points and nine rebounds.

This is the second loss in a row for Global Outreach Charter Academy and nudges their season record down to 8-16. As for KIPP Bold City, they moved to 15-8 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Global Outreach Charter Academy has already played their next game (against Fernandina Beach), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. KIPP Bold City won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Englewood at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
