Basketball Recap: Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln Takes a Loss

Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 70-45 to the D.C. Everest Evergreens. The Red Raiders were not able to make up for their defeat to the Evergreens from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for D.C. Everest, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-6.

Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln and D.C. Everest could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings. Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln (ranked 387th) will meet Marshfield (ranked 18th) at 7:45 p.m. on January 24th. Meanwhile, D.C. Everest will square off against Wausau East at 7:45 p.m. on January 24th down 128 places (150 vs. 22).
