The Marietta Tigers will take on the Jackson Ironman/Ironladies in a tournament on Wednesday. Marietta is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5.4 goals per game this season.

If Jackson heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Marietta took over last week. The Tigers came out on top against Alexander by a score of 3-1 on Saturday. Marietta haven't had any issues with Alexander recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Marietta hit Alexander with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Blaire Reed, Lexi Addis, and Caroline Cortopassi.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last matchup, Jackson made sure to put some goals up on the board against Chillicothe on Monday. They blew past the Cavaliers 7-1. Jackson might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by six goals or more this season.

Marietta's victory bumped their record up to 13-2-1. As for Jackson, their win bumped their record up to 9-6-2.

Everything went Marietta's way against Jackson when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as Marietta made off with a 5-0 victory. Do the Tigers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Ironman/Ironladies turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
