Volleyball Recap: Mercer Comes Up Short

After flying high against Franklin on Thursday, Mercer came back down to earth. The Mustangs fell just short of Erie First Christian Academy by a score of 1-0 on Saturday. The Mustangs have struggled against Erie First Christian Academy recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Mercer's defeat dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Erie First Christian Academy, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-3.

Looking ahead, Mercer will head out on the road to take on Redbank Valley at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Erie First Christian Academy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Grove City on the 4th.
