There's no place like home for Bay City, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 59-44 victory over the Columbia Roughnecks on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 57-56 back in January.

Alex Estrada was his usual excellent self, going 9 for 18 on his way to 28 points and four steals. Javius Andrews was another key player, putting up 14 points.

Columbia lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Kaison Lewis, who posted 18 points. His evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 18 points. Brayden Polk also deserves some recognition as he pulled down his first board of the season.

Bay City now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Columbia, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-23.

Bay City has already played their next game, a 63-48 loss against Brazosport on the 11th. As for Columbia, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 98-34 defeat against La Marque on the 11th.
