Preview: South Hadley vs. Taconic
On Thursday Taconic will take on South Hadley at 6:00 PM. The teams both are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Taconic got themselves on the board against Commerce/Springfield Renaissance last Thursday, but Commerce/Springfield Renaissance never followed suit. Taconic put a hurting on Commerce/Springfield Renaissance to the tune of 46-0. The high-flying offensive effort was a definite turnaround from Taconic's flat performance the game before.
Meanwhile, South Hadley might be getting used to good results now that the squad has four wins in a row. They were the clear victor by a 50-28 margin over Pittsfield. The rankings were on South Hadley's side, but they didn't forecast quite such a lopsided result.
Their wins bumped South Hadley to 4-2 and Taconic to 3-3. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, South Hadley and Taconic will really light up the scoreboard.
