MOC-Floyd Valley's rock-solid pitchers showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout on Monday. They never let the Storm Lake Tornadoes get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. The Dutchmen might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 19 matches by six runs or more this season.

MOC-Floyd Valley's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 25-4. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Storm Lake, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season.

MOC-Floyd Valley will head out to square off against Le Mars on Friday. The Dutchmen are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on a 13-game losing streak. As for Storm Lake, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 12-1 defeat against Humboldt on the 8th.
