Basketball Recap: Richmond Hill's Win Ends Six-Game Losing Streak on the Road

After losing to Camden County the last time they met, Richmond Hill decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Richmond Hill Wildcats walked away with a 62-52 win over the Camden County Wildcats on Tuesday.

Despite the loss, Camden County still got an impressive performance from Jaylen Johnson, who went 5 of 8 en route to 14 points and six assists. Those 14 points gave Johnson a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Messiah Colon, who posted seven points and three steals.

Richmond Hill's victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 7-8. As for Camden County, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-10.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Tift County the next time they take the court. Camden County will host Tift County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Richmond Hill will head out to face them at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
