The Skyline Coyotes will square off against the Arcadia Titans at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Skyline is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.4 runs per game this season.

Skyline is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Horizon just ended the team's eight-game winning streak dating back to last season on Tuesday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Huskies. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Coyotes were not able to get on the board.

Skyline saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Austin Calise, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Arcadia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of Poston Butte.

Arcadia's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Skyline, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 7-1.

Skyline skirted past Arcadia 4-3 when the teams last played back in February of 2020. The rematch might be a little tougher for Skyline since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
