Meanwhile, Harbor Creek waltzed into their game on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They never let the Bulldogs get on the board and left with an 11-0 win. That looming 11-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Huskies yet this season.
Heath Betza made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Maddox Vaughn, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Sam LaFuria, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, two doubles, and one RBI.
Harbor Creek always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .517. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Harbor Creek's victory bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Warren, their loss dropped their record down to 0-17.
