Basketball Game Preview: Divine Child Falcons vs. Richard Pioneers

Having just played yesterday, the Divine Child Falcons will jump right back in to play the Richard Pioneers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

On Monday, Divine Child strolled past Taylor with points to spare, taking the game 64-47. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Falcons.

Meanwhile, Richard came tearing into Saturday's contest with ten straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 32.4 points) and they left with even more momentum. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Gryphons 62-29. Given the Pioneers' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 23rd, while the Gryphons are ranked 604th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Divine Child now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Richard, their win bumped their record up to 16-2.

Divine Child was taken down by Richard 88-50 in their previous matchup back in January. Can Divine Child avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
