Volleyball Recap: Oak Ridge Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Oak Ridge entered their tilt with Conroe on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Tigers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the War Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Oak Ridge took every set by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-11, 25-10.

Allie Lindsey paced Oak Ridge's offense, picking up 12 kills. Lindsey got some help from Samantha Daley and her 18 assists. Micah Rusher controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Conroe's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Amiya Casperson, who had five aces and four assists, and Brayla Bradley, who had six digs and three assists.

Oak Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 18-5. As for Conroe, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 16-14.

Oak Ridge has already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Klein Cain on the 9th. As for Conroe, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Grand Oaks on the 9th.
