Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Goldthwaite couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They were dealt a 67-33 loss at the hands of the Martins Mill Mustangs on Tuesday. The Eagles' defeat signaled the end of their 17-game winning streak.

Ryder Marsh continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Martins Mill, almost dropping a double-double with 18 points and nine rebounds. Marsh is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last 14 games he's played. Another player making a difference was Archer Schneider, who went 8-for-16 on his way to 19 points and six boards.

Goldthwaite's loss dropped their record down to 26-7. As for Martins Mill, the victory was the 17th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 35-1.

Goldthwaite does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Martins Mill, they will take on Lipan at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lipan will roll in looking for their 18th straight win, something Martins Mill surely won't give up without a fight.
