Volleyball Recap: Jefferson Comes Up Short

Jefferson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Lewis Central Titans. If the Yellowjackets were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Titans when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Lewis Central found their leader in sophomore Jacey Young, who had seven digs and five assists.

Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 4-19. As for Lewis Central, they pushed their record up to 16-7 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Jefferson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Blair on the 4th. As for Lewis Central, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Denison-Schleswig on the 4th.
