Baseball Recap: Chester Snaps Three-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Chester won against American Leadership Academy last Saturday with nine runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Chester Cyclones beat the Lancaster Bruins by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 9-5. For the Cyclones, this counts as revenge for the 7-6 victory the Bruins walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.

Chester's win ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1. As for Lancaster, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Looking ahead, Chester will host Fairfield Central at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Chester is facing Fairfield Central at the right time seeing as Fairfield Central is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Lancaster, they are taking a road trip to square off against Richland Northeast at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lancaster is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.1 runs per game this season.
