Volleyball Recap: Crandon Comes Up Short

Crandon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Lakeland Thunderbirds. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cardinals of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2018.

Crandon's loss dropped their record down to 3-20. As for Lakeland, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-5.

Coincidentally, Crandon and Lakeland will both be playing Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran the next time they take the court. The Thunderbirds will head out to face the Lancers at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Cardinals will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
