Volleyball Recap: Plattsburgh Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Lake Placid on Tuesday, Plattsburgh came back down to earth. The Hornets came up short against the Peru Nighthawks on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Hornets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Nighthawks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Plattsburgh took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-22, 25-23.

Plattsburgh's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Peru, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Plattsburgh will take on rival AuSable Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Peru is set to challenge their familiar foe Northern Adirondack at 6:00 p.m. on October 7.
