Volleyball Recap: Messmer Comes Up Short

Messmer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Catholic Central Hilltoppers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bishops of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-4, 25-12.

Messmer's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Catholic Central, they pushed their record up to 7-23 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Messmer does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Catholic Central, they will face off against Hustisford at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
