Recap: Glenwood Springs Demons vs. Palisade Bulldogs
There's no place like home for The Glenwood Springs Demons, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They didn't even let Palisade onto the board and left with a 21-0 win on Friday. This was payback for Glenwood Springs, who suffered a 42-8 loss the last time these two teams met.
Glenwood Springs' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Mason Markovich led the charge by rushing for 86 yards and a touchdown.
Glenwood Springs' victory bumped their record up to 5-5. As for Palisade, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-7.
Glenwood Springs will head out on the road to face off against Green Mountain at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Green Mountain is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. Palisade does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
