Recap: South Aiken Baptist Christian CRUSADERS vs. Alleluia Community
The South Aiken Baptist Christian CRUSADERS were the 36-24 winner over Alleluia Community when they last played one another back in January of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. South Aiken Baptist Christian was outmatched by Alleluia Community at home and fell 72-11. South Aiken Baptist Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 49-9.
Alleluia Community's win on Monday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Halle Janik, who scored 10 points. Another player making a difference was Tess Samaha, who scored 9 points.
This is the second loss in a row for South Aiken Baptist Christian and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Alleluia Community, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-1.
South Aiken Baptist Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Community Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on December 14th. As for Alleluia Community, they will head out on the road to face off against Trinity Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Trinity Christian's defense has only allowed 19 points per game this season, so Alleluia Community's offense will have their work cut out for Alleluia Community.
