Fort Mill needed a changed in momentum after dropping five straight games and they got it from Broden Mitcheson. The Yellow Jackets walked away with a 42-35 win over the Nation Ford Falcons on Friday for which the team can thank Mitcheson, who rushed for 225 yards and three TDs, and also picked up 31 receiving yards. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 108.5 rushing yards per game.

Another player making a difference was Quinn Kelly, who threw for 181 yards and three touchdowns. He has become a key player for Fort Mill: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least three passing touchdowns, but 2-4 otherwise.

Nation Ford's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Kason Canupp, who threw for 447 yards and four TDs while picking up 14.4 yards per attempt, and Jayden Scott, who picked up 214 receiving yards and three scores.

The victory got Fort Mill back to even at 5-5. As for Nation Ford, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.

Fort Mill does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Nation Ford, they will challenge Greenville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. That game will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Canupp and Kiishawn Farrow.
